Longer Sides

These rifle/pistol cleaning patches have a side length of 1.3 inches, and that is much longer than the side of a typical 0.5-inch or 0.75-inch square patch.

The longer side means a longer radius, and a longer radius means Triangle Patches TM reach farther down a jag. Reaching farther down a jag means more bore contact. They work best when used with long jags or our Jag Brushes TM. See jag selection.

Notches

Empty space along the sides prevent our patch from getting stuck inside the bore.

Fabric

Fabric is 100% cotton flannel, and napped for superior absorption. As soon as our stock of 17-20 cal patches runs out, we will switch the fabric for them to USA-made flannel. The price will go up a bit when it switches to USA-made flannel.

Caliber

The Triangle Patches TM fit bores in the .17-to-.20 range, such as 17, 17/222, .20, 4.85mm, 5mm, and 5.45mm.
