Longer Sides

These rifle/pistol/shotgun cleaning patches have a side length of 4.56 inches, and that is much longer than the side of a typical 3.0-inch square patch. The longer side means a longer radius, and a longer radius means Triangle Patches TM reach farther down a jag. Reaching farther down a jag means more bore contact.

Fabric

Our cotton flannel is made in the USA. It is thick, averaging 0.0175 inch, going as high as 0.0190 inch, and it is a highly absorbent napped fabric construction.

The 2.63" radius of a 4.56-inch sided Triangle Patch TM is longer than the 2.12" radius of a 3.0-inch square patch, and a longer radius means our Triangle Patch TM spreads more fabric against the bore.

Caliber

The Triangle Patches TM fit bores when using shotgun Jag BrushesTM, and they fit bores when using standard jags/loops in the .50-to-.58 cal range and the shotgun range, such as 50, 500, 505, 577, 54, 56, 58, 600, 700, and gauge 28, 20, 16, 12, and 10.
