Longer Sides

These rifle/pistol cleaning patches have a side length of 1.9 inches, and that is much longer than the side of a typical 1.0-inch square patch.

The longer side means a longer radius, and a longer radius means Triangle Patches TM reach farther down a jag. Reaching farther down a jag means more bore contact. They work best when used with long jags or our Jag Brushes TM. See jag selection.

Notches

Patent-pending notches at the middle of the sides remove excessive pleating, and they prevent our patches from getting stuck inside the bore.

In a .22 bore, a 1.9-inch sided notched Triangle Patch TM spreads 116% more fabric against the bore than does a 0.75-inch square patch.

In a 0.223 bore, a 1.9-inch sided notched Triangle Patch TM spreads 48% more fabric against the bore than does a 1.0-inch square patch and 13% more than does a 1.25-inch square patch.
